The weather on Teide in May is very pleasant, about 18 – 20 degrees. The air clarity is very good, making the experience even better. For those who like hiking, it’s also a great time – the trails are friendlier than in winter (no snow) or summer (when it can get really hot on the Volcano).

Dolphin cruise

We personally love the dolphin-watching cruise in May. Why? Because the weather is perfect for sunbathing and jumping into the water. It’s also the time when dolphins and whales eagerly show off in the ocean waters and gracefully pose for photos.

Anaga

The Anaga Mountains in Tenerife, or magical forests full of laurel trees, huge ferns and views like from a movie setting. Although they are evergreen and humid, you can see something different in each season. When going to the Anaga mountains, it’s worth wearing comfortable shoes and bringing a sweatshirt / rain jacket. The views, however, are well worth it.
