Description

An intimate tour (max. 8 people) from southern Tenerife, combined with a visit to Vilaflor—the highest-elevation municipal town in Spain. We’ll visit a beautiful wine region, where you’ll, of course, taste local wine; we’ll stop by an aloe vera farm; and we’ll also visit a shop selling handmade jewelry made from natural stones, including olivine — a distinctive mineral found in the Canary Islands.

You only have half a day, but you want to see more than just the hotel, the beach, and the tourist center?
Join us for an intimate tour in a small group—up to 8 people—during which we’ll show you Tenerife from a slightly different perspective. You’ll experience nature, local products, a mountain town, Canarian coffee, sweet almond cookies, wine, and, above all, encounters with the people who make this island what it is. We’ll pick you up from your hotel in southern Tenerife—from Los Gigantes all the way to Golf del Sur—and head toward the mountains.

Tenerife Wine Tasting Tour—What’s It Like?

We’ll begin our adventure by discovering one of the Canary Islands’ most iconic products—aloe vera. We’ll visit a local plantation, where you’ll learn how this remarkable plant is grown, how the “liquid gold of the Canary Islands” is made, and discover the benefits of aloe vera products. There will also be time to purchase unique local beauty and skincare souvenirs.

Next, we’ll head toward the mountains. Along the way, we’ll stop at a spot that offers an impressive view of Tenerife’s southern coast. It’s one of those moments when it’s worth putting your camera aside for a moment and just taking it all in.

Our next stop will be Pino Gordo—a massive, iconic pine tree growing near Vilaflor. According to local tradition, the tree makes dreams come true. Of course, we’ll let you in on exactly what you need to do to make that happen 🙂
After visiting Pino Gordo, we’ll head to Vilaflor, the highest village on Tenerife. As we stroll through the quiet, narrow streets, we’ll see a completely different side of the island—far from the hustle and bustle of the coast.
We’ll also find time for a traditional Canarian coffee and a local delicacy—almond cookies, which you can take home as a sweet souvenir.

And once our appetites are properly whetted, we’ll move on… Time for wine!
We’ll visit a traditional local bodega, where we’ll enjoy a tasting of 5 types of Canarian wine, along with traditional Canarian cheese, potatoes with mojo sauces, and other snacks
But this won’t be just any tasting. We’ll tour the vineyards and learn how the wine that will soon be in our glasses is made. We’ll take a look behind the scenes of production and learn about the history of the place and the people who have been connected to viticulture for generations. It’s right here that you’ll discover that wine tasting is about more than just taste. It’s also about the place, the tradition, the atmosphere, and the history of the people who create it. After the tasting, we’ll head back south, but before we wrap up our trip, one more unusual encounter awaits us.

We’ll visit a shop selling handmade jewelry made from natural stones, run by Mr. Leszek and his son. It’s a small, family-run shop where you can find a unique souvenir from Tenerife—something completely different from the typical store-bought magnets and trinkets.

A small group. Lots of local stories.
This tour isn’t a race from one attraction to the next. We want you to have time to see, listen, taste, and talk.

In about 4–5 hours, you’ll get to experience several different flavors of Tenerife—from aloe vera to almond cookies and Canarian coffee, all the way to local wine. And above all, you’ll meet people who talk passionately about what they do.
This is the perfect idea for a half-day trip from the south of Tenerife, especially if you want to spend a few hours exploring the island and save the rest of the day for the beach, the pool, or a quiet evening.

During the tour, you’ll gather a few “Canarian ingredients”—a plant, a view, a taste, a story, and local handicrafts. In the end, you’ll discover that each of them tells a different part of Tenerife’s story.
Because you don’t get to know Tenerife just through its places.
You get to know it through its people, flavors, and stories.

NOTE: Final reservation and payment for the tour must be made via the online link (bank transfer, Przelewy24, PayPal, credit card) after the date has been confirmed
