Whichever option you choose, keep in mind that it is already cold at this altitude in winter. If you choose to take the cable car or climb to the summit itself, you may find temperatures below 0°C. And the views of Teide in winter are amazing – a sea of clouds, snow on the summit, and sunshine on the coast.

Road trips

Personally, we really like a trip to observe the stars just in winter. Why? Because the air clarity is greatest and you can admire the constellations and stars. And such a view from the crater of a volcano is an experience you don’t forget. Beaches and bathing in winter
