Itinerary for a trip to La Palma from Tenerife

After arriving at the port in Santa Cruz de La Palma, we’ll begin our tour of the island.

What will you see?

A Walk Through Santa Cruz de La Palma
We’ll start the tour with a short walk through the historic center of the island’s capital. You’ll see charming cobblestone streets, traditional Canarian architecture, and the Plaza de España with its historic El Salvador Church.

Tajogaite Volcano
Next, we’ll head to one of the most iconic sites on La Palma—the Tajogaite volcano, which was formed during the 2021 eruption. This is a unique opportunity to see a landscape shaped by recent volcanic activity and to learn about the impact of the eruption on the lives of the island’s residents.

Lunch at a local restaurant
After touring the volcano, there will be a lunch break, which is included in the price of the tour.

Virgen de las Nieves Shrine
After lunch, we’ll visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Las Nieves—the patron saint of La Palma. It’s one of the island’s most important pilgrimage sites, located in a picturesque mountainous area with beautiful views of the surrounding valleys.

After the tour, we’ll return to the port in Santa Cruz de La Palma, where we’ll take a ferry to Tenerife.

• There is no hotel shuttle service for this tour.
• Participants must make their own way to the port of Los Cristianos, where they are to report at 7:45 a.m.
• The tour is conducted in English, German, and Spanish.
